    Technical – Apparel Industry Oriented

    This certificate is designed to give students the skills required to compete in the rapidly changing apparel industry. Technology has been incorporated into the curriculum with computer aided design. This training can lead to jobs as designers, assistant designers, pattern makers, production managers, pattern graders and other fashion related positions.

    Theater Costuming

    This certificate is designed to provide students with an introduction to the costuming industry, including the many types of jobs available in this field, from designing to costume construction and show production. Students learn about historic and theatrical styles, pattern making skills, tailoring and construction skills as well as design and illustration techniques to prepare them for a job in costuming. Students will also have the opportunity to work on actual productions through class work or internships.
