Sarah Veblen to share her sewing secrets with us!
Sarah Veblen has been sewing for a long time. In fact, she’s been sewing professionally—making custom garments for clients—since her children were small. Her long and successful career has included authoring books on sewing and fitting as well as private mentoring and online courses. You have a chance to hear Sarah speak in person at Artistry in Fashion, Saturday, September 28th!
One of Sarah’s specialties is creating a remarkable number of variations from the same pattern. Below is an array of dresses, for example, that she made from the same pattern—changing the fabrication, sleeves, hemline and so on. Sarah will be doing a trunk show (not sale) and lecture on this very topic but applied to jackets. Her presentation will take place twice upstairs in Building 3: once at 12:30 and again at 2:00 p.m. Admission is free, but you must have a ticket. Pick one up at one of the entrance tables.
We are so lucky that Sarah is coming all the way from Baltimore to share her expertise with us. See you there!
