We had Ms. Catherine Fraser speak with us in May about sales. We learned some great insights into sales and how to make sales easier.

In case you missed it, here are a few of the gems we came away with.

  • Do a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) on your own product and your competitors to see where you might want to make changes.
  • Be the part and look the part. You wouldn’t wear your pajamas to a job interview, so make sure you are appropriate in how you present yourself!
  • Figure out what is the most important thing you sell and educate the customer. For example, instead of saying, “I sell a line of fashion for teens.” Say, “I work with a lot of people in the community. My expertise is helping teens make sure they look great.”
